When is the DLTC Mixed League?

Dates for the first round of 5 matches are as follows: Friday 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th July and Wednesday 2nd August.

The play-off stage dates are as follows: Last 16 on Wednesday 9th, Quarter Finals on Friday 11th, Semi-finals on Wednesday 16th August and Finals on Friday 18th August.

What is the format of the Mixed League?

Each team has 6 players (3 men and 3 women) and each mixed doubles pairing plays the best of three sets against a team from another club.

Where do the matches take place?

You could be scheduled to play at home in Bective  or away in a different club.

What classes are played in Mixed League?

Class 1 – players who have not played higher than class 3 summer league.

Class 2 – players who have not played higher than class 5 summer league.

Class 3 – players who have not played higher than class 7 summer league.

Note: If a player subs twice in a particular class for summer league, the player is deemed to be of that standard i.e. if you subbed twice for class 4 summer league, you are deemed to be a class 4 player for mixed league and therefore can only play class 1 Mixed League.

Are there any availability restrictions?

To be eligible for a team you must be available to play at least 3 of the 5 matches scheduled to be played between July 7th and August 2nd. If you do not feel you will be able to commit to play 3 of these 5 matches, then please enter as a sub.

Are there any age restrictions?

If you reached the age of 18 last year, you are eligible to play in this league (i.e. 18 years by 31st December 2022).
