Are Membership Subscriptions Pro-Rated If You Join Mid-Season?
Yes. A seasonal discount is applied for new members joining after 1st August. Please contact the Membership Secretary for further information.
Are the tennis and padel courts indoor or outdoor?
All our courts are outdoor – during the colder “refreshing” months members just layer up!
Are The Courts Free To Use By Members?
Yes. If you are a member of Bective, you are entitled to use the courts freely. You will need to reserve a court in advance through our online booking system. There is no cost associated with this. Full Members can reserve courts up to 7 days in advance of play.
Is The Use Of Floodlights Included In The Membership Fee?
Like all clubs, floodlights on winter evenings are extra. Floodlights cost €1.50 per half hour, which is a pretty standard rate in most tennis clubs and facilities.
Is Coaching Included In The Membership Fee?
No. Membership subscriptions go towards the running of the club. Members wishing to avail of coaching can join some of our group coaching sessioons at a reduced rate, or book private lessons with one of out club coaches.
I'm not a member - can I hire the tennis or padel courts?
No – the courts in Bective are for the euse of members only.
Do I have to be a member to avail of coaching?
Yes! Coaching is available to members of Bective only.
Can I invite visitors from time to time?
Full Members can invite up to 4 guests in a 12 month period. Members must pay a green fee of €6 per hour for each visitor invited to the Club.
Membership Categories
The Club has two categories of membership – Full Members and Associate Members.
- Full Memberships are those members who have been in continuous membership of the Club for a period of no less than twenty-four months from the date of their election and include Family, Couple, Parent + 1 Child and Adult members
- Associate Memberships include Student, Junior and Trial members
Full members enjoy some additional benefits over Associate members including permission to use the Club car park and voting rights at meetings of the Club. Further details can be found in the Club Constitution in the Member’s Area.
